Setting permissions for files through Explorer


1) Open Windows Explorer
2) Right click on directory or folder
3) Goto Properties on the shorcut menu
4) Click on the tab that says Security
5) Click on Permissions
6) Click on "Replace permissions on subdirectories"
7) Click on Add
8) Show Users
9) Highlight name of user(s) then click add
10) Goto type of access and click on "Full Access"
11) click Ok, Ok, Yes, and then close

Using Adminstrative tolls - user manager

1) start
2) programs
3) Administrative Tools
4) User Manager for Domains


Add User
1) User
2) New User

New user window
1) username
2) full name
3) Description
4) password
5) confirm password
7) click "User Must Change Password at Next Logon"
8) click add
